Give through your salary

Donate to CAP through your salary tax-free.

Did you know you can give a donation to CAP through your salary? This is called payroll giving, or Give As You Earn (GAYE).

Payroll giving means you can make a donation without having to give any bank details, and it also costs you at least 25% less, as it comes out of your gross pay before tax.

How do I give a donation through my salary?

Ask your employer or HR department if they are set up for payroll giving. If they are, just tell them you’d like to donate to Christians Against Poverty, and let them know how much you’d like to donate each month.

You can give as much as you want and the donations are tax free. You won’t have the hassle of managing your gifts as they’ll be taken directly from your gross pay each month before tax.

You could also ask your employer if they will match this donation. Many larger companies already do. Matched giving means that your gift is immediately doubled at no extra cost to you, which means more help for families and individuals suffering from the effects of debt and poverty.

Your gifts will help see transformed lives, thriving churches and an end to UK poverty.
